 Xiaomi Romania showcases Xiaomi 14T series    

Xiaomi have showcased successors to the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro on 26 Sep 24. Today is the day of the Xiaomi 14T series global launch. It is exactly a year after the 13T series launched and once again we expect to see two models: Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro. As is often the case with upcoming Xiaomi releases, there have been plenty of leaks surrounding Xiaomi's next 'flagship killers'. However, this time Xiaomi itself is the source of the leaks. Once again, the pair will feature cameras co-engineered with Leica, plus high quality displays and high-end chipsets. 

Specifically, Xiaomi Romania has posted multiple promotional videos ahead of schedule. Ultimately, all three clips shown so far are rather short, with the longest clocking in at a mere 16-seconds. Nonetheless, it is possible to spot both the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro in the cumulative 28-second footage. We’ve seen many leaks that gave details of the specs, so let’s focus on the official details.  

Unlike its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14T Pro will support wireless charging (at 50W) in addition to super-fast wired charging (120W). You can catch a few more details on the event page. We won’t look at leaks, but the recent slip-up by Amazon promises a generous pre-order package with the new 14T models. In addition to the new smartphones, Xiaomi will also reveal the Xiaomi Buds 5, a new vacuum robot (Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Max) and a 100” TV.

Xiaomi 14T series hint at low-light photography skills, a host of AI features and a new hero colour, Titan Gray. For reference, the pair will directly replace the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro (curr. $587 on Amazon).
