WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.24.10.73

 Update of WhatsApp beta for

 iOS 23.24.10.73

WhatsApp has just submitted a new update through the Test Flight beta Program, bringing the version up to 23.24.10.73. The version marked within WhatsApp Settings is 2.23.24.73 and the Test   Flight build is 23.24.10 (539752939). WhatsApp is working on a new text status feature with disappearing options, and it will be available in a future update. WhatsApp is working on bringing a new text status feature to a future update of the app. This feature is under development, so it’s not ready for beta testers, but you can find some details in this article.

TEXT STATUS

In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.20.12 update, we shared the details about a new feature under development: text status. Text Status will be a new improved “about” feature which include disappearing options, allowing users to set a temporary text status which automatically vanishes after a specified duration. After installing the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.24.10.73 update, which is available on the Test Flight app, we discovered that WhatsApp is working on the same feature for a future update of the app!

WhatsApp is working on several improvements regarding the feature which currently allows us to associate a description with our profile. It will give users the ability to choose a timer so that the description associated with our profile disappears after the selected period of time. It is very important to note that the “Never” option is currently unavailable. This means that you won’t be able to associate a persistent text status to your profile.

The introduction of the new text status feature with a timer will provide users with greater control over the visibility of their profile information. Users will be able to set a temporary text status which automatically disappears after a specified duration. This enhanced control over the visibility of personal information contributes to increased privacy, allowing users to share temporary updates without having a persistent text status associated with their profile. The absence of the “Never” option will also ensure that users have a time-limited text status, encouraging them to share an updated text status which always reflects their current thoughts or activities. A new text status feature with disappearing options is currently in development and it will be available in a future update of the app.
