 Apple expected to launch its most affordable iPhone early 2025

Apple is rumoured to launch the next generation of iPhone SE, which is expected to feature a camera upgrade, Apple Intelligence features, boasts A18 chip, 6.1-inch OLED display, 5G, and a modern design. Apple’s highly anticipated refresh of its budget-friendly iPhone SE is expected to make a splash in early 2025. This new model, tentatively referred to as the iPhone SE 4, is rumoured to bring a host of significant updates, marking the most substantial overhaul to the SE line since its inception. With a potential release in March 2025, it will succeed the current iPhone SE, which has remained unchanged since its launch two years prior. The changes suggest that Apple is aiming to redefine what users can expect from an affordable smartphone. It’s been two years since Apple refreshed its most affordable iPhone, the iPhone SE. If rumours to be believed, then Apple could launch the next iPhone SE sometime in March 2025. Rumour mills are buzzing about certain features and specifications of the iPhone SE. 

Apple’s own 5G modem

One of the most significant changes anticipated with the iPhone SE 4 is the introduction of Apple’s own 5G modem, codenamed “Centauri”, which will provide faster internet speeds and improved connectivity. This modem is also expected to support other technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. Till now, Apple has been reliant on Qualcomm’s 5G models. This move marks a departure from Apple’s reliance on Qualcomm modems for its iPhones.
