 Honor Tablet GT Pro launched with 144Hz OLED screen and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3

Honor launched its X60 and X60 Pro smartphones earlier today in China and the pair were also joined by a new tablet. Honor Tablet GT Pro brings a spacious 12.3-inch screen, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and a massive 10,050 mAh battery which supports 66W charging. Following are the some of the important points:-

Honor Pad GT Pro has been launched in China. The flagship tablet made its debut alongside the Honor X60 and X60 Pro in the country recently and boasts features such as a 144Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 10,500mAh battery capacity and an eight-speaker setup. It also gets IMAX Enhanced support and a massive heat sink area to keep the tablet cool during intense gaming sessions. The 12.3-inch panel on the Tablet GT Pro is of the OLED variety and features a 1,920 x 3,000 px resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated at 1,600 nits peak brightness and features quad speakers. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The tablet also features a massive 40,000mm2 heat sink area which should help during high-intensive gaming sessions.

Honor Pad GT Pro is equipped with a screen features IMAX Enhanced support and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. It has a 92 % screen-to-body ratio, measures 274.5 x 180.5 x 5.8mm in terms of dimensions, and weighs 555g. For media consumption, the tablet gets an eight-speaker setup with support for 3D spatial audio. For optics, the Honor Pad GT Pro sports a single 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture and a 9-megapixel front selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. It is backed by a 10,050mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge support. In terms of connectivity, the Honor tablet gets Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. The software side is covered by MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 and the new tablet supports Magic-Pencil 3 stylus input

Honor Tablet GT Pro is available for purchase in three colourways: GT Blue, Moon Shadow White, and Star Black. Pricing in China starts at CNY 2,499 ($350) for the 8/128GB trim and goes up to CNY 3,299 ($465) for the top-of-the-line 16/512GB model. Tablet GT Pro is already listed on Honor China’s official webstore with deliveries expected to start on October 22.
