Galaxy S21 update

Update about Galaxy S21 getting Android 14 (One UI 6.0)

The Galaxy S21 series seems to have started getting the stable Android 14 (One UI 6.0) update for the all models. Over the past couple of months, the devices in the Galaxy S21 series have been getting One UI 6.0 beta updates, and now the stable version of the software has been released. The stable Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with firmware version G99xBXXU9FWK2. It is available in European countries, starting with Switzerland and could be released to more countries in near future. It is a big update, clocking in at 2.28GB in download size, so it would be better to download the update using a Wi-Fi network.

If you have a Galaxy S21 series phone in Europe, you can start checking for the Android 14 update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. The firmware file should be available in firmware database soon, so you might have to wait if you want to flash the update manually.
